| Bio: |          ♣Under Construction♣ ♣ Born the middle child of Andrew & Sara Whitaker's three children, Stephanie Abigail Whitaker came into the world October 8, 1983. Of her siblings she was always the most consistant in school and was always very well behaved and well liked. ♣ When Stephanie was in the 11th grade, her father Andrew, a detective for the Raleigh Police Department was shot and killed in the line of duty. Steph was always close with her father and it was a devestating loss for her and her family. Whenever she gets down on herself she always remembers things that her father would say and ends up pulling through. ♣ Stephanie's mother, Sara, is an OB/GYN, just not Stephanie's. The safe sex talk and pre-marital sex talk happened pretty often in her house while growing up. Especially after Steph's father died and her mom had to raise two teenagers and a college student on her own. ♣ Played Sandy in her High School performance of Grease, and is now obsessed with anything having to do with the play or movie. She even has a Pink Ladies jacket that she actually does where at times... and a signed movie poster she bought off eBay. ♣ Upon graduating high school, Stephanie attended the University of North Carolina where she double majored in Elementary Education and Music. She was recently hired as an elementary school music teacher in Chicago which is what brought her to the Windy City. ♣ Did cheerleading in both High School and College. Go Tarheels! ♣ As a job to get her way through college and after, Steph worked as a bartender at a local country bar in North Carolina where she also got to sing with the live band that played. ♣ Though she is a woman of many talents, Stephanie mainly enjoys anything "creative" or "artsy", everything from singing to dancing, writing to knitting, drawing to pottery making. If it seems interesting, she'll try anything. ♣ Though she has tried several times to become a vegetarian, her southern upbringing always gets the best of her. Ribs & Friend Chicken get her every time no more than a week after she claims.. "This time, it's for real!" ♣ Had a huge crush on the decently older guy next door while growing up, she eventually lost her virginity to him on her eighteenth birthday. ♣ She and her older sister have a strained relationship. Stephanie doesn't like that she in a way betrayed her sister even if it was unknowingly, and her sister is far too stubborn to ever forgive Stephanie for altercations in their past. She even went as far to get one of Stephanie's boyfriends drunker than he ever had been before, just to sleep with her. ♣ Possibly the best example of Middle Child Syndrome ever. Was always competing with both the younger and older siblings for attention. Possibly the reason she is into all the creative stuff she is into. ♣ One thing she is going to miss the most about North Carolina is her grandparents house in Myrtle Beach. She often went in the summers for long weekends to hang out at the beach. She still can go visit but it's not the same as going at the spur of the moment. ♣ Has a secret desire to perform professionally on stage. A few people know of this secret but she isn't confident enough in herself to follow that dream. She has a great voice and is a good stage actress, she just needs motivation and a lot of encouragement. ♣ Has a maltipoo puppy that she bought just before moving to Chicago.
